Job Title: SR VMWARE CONSULTANT

Job Duties:

Serve as a subject matter expert on Windows and Virtual infrastructure environment include VMware vSphere, vCloud, vROps (vRealize Operations), Cisco UCS, Nutanix, IIS Web servers, DNS (Domain Naming services), DHCP servers (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), File and Print servers, Microsoft Active Directory Services. Design, Engineer and implement various types of virtualization technologies such as VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, UCS, VCE vBlock and Nutanix Hyper-converged technologies. Review client Infrastructure environments and make technical recommendations. Act as a trusted technical adviser and subject-matter expert implementing client Virtualization technologies and tools. Disaster Recovery design and execute (Nutanix DR protection, VMware SRM) for Tier-1 applications. Ensure the Business continuity by establishing the DR strategy. Upgrade Windows legacy Servers to Windows 2016 servers. Follow Lift and Shift approach in building Infrastructure and application in the migration process. Upgrade of VMware vSphere Suite ESXi from 5.0 to 5.5 and from 5.5. to 6.0 or 6.5. Installation and Configuration of vCenter update manager. Check the health of all Hosts and VM objects in vCenter. Migrate Windows File Shares to NAS from one data center to another datacenter using Secure Copy and Robocopy.

Requirements:

Associates Degree in either Comp. Sci., or Information systems and 24 months of job exp. in job offered or related occupation.
